Notice is given that a general meeting of LMKC will be held at 7 pm on Thursday 24 April in the Small Hall of the Kilmelford and Kilninver Village Hall for the following purpose:

Special Resolution

To consider and, if thought fit, approve the following resolution that will be proposed as a special resolution:

That the articles of association contained in the document attached to this Resolution, sent to the members by email and initialled for the purposes of identification be approved and adopted as the new articles of association of LMKC in substitution for and to the entire exclusion of the existing articles of association.

Please note that Ordinary members have one vote each. Associate and Junior members are very welcome to participate but do not have a vote.

LMKC is helping to clean up the beach and roadside from the village hall down Degnish Road, on April 26th from 2-4pm.

Our first AGM was on February 19th at 7pm in Kilmelford and Kilninver Village Hall. We had a great turn-out – almost half of the members attended, along with a number of not-yet-members.

There was a public meeting, where we described the current status and what we have been doing, followed by splitting into small groups to discuss the range of possible projects that members wanted the company to become involved in. Many useful ideas and much input was generated – we will absorb this properly and priovide an update in the next days (by end of February at the latest).

Then followed the AGM, report coming shortly.

Our next board meeting will be on 11th March; if you have any further suggestions or thoughts please pass them on to one of the directors before then.
