Table Top Sale November 2024

On November 10th we had another successful Table Top sale.

We followed up our successful launch events with a repeat of last year’s table top sale in Kilmelford Village Hall. Held jointly with the Village Hall, this year the sale opened on Remembrance Sunday just after the two minute silence to a steady stream of eager buyers looking for bargains.

As before, the hard-working team organising the sale had attracted over 20 sellers who had arranged their tables with their wares or items they no longer wanted, or even a mixture of both. Many generous local businesses had donated fantastic raffle prizes and when LMKC’s Chairman Stuart Cannon drew the winning tickets, there were a lot of happy winners gladly claiming their prizes.

All day the wonderful team in the kitchen worked hard to provide tea and coffee, sandwiches and many homemade cakes and biscuits at a very reasonable price. Locals and visitors from further afield welcomed the chance to catch up with friends and purchase some bargains ranging from garden tools, clothes, toys, bric a brac, candles, coffee and bird food.

After expenses, nearly £900 was raised and divided between LMKC Ltd and the Village Hall.
